Service Description

Learn how to draw animation art, design fantastic original characters, and create great story-telling with award winning illustrator & comic artist Scott Hanna. You'll also learn how to create expressive faces & bodies, how to show movement in a pose and interactions between characters! After understanding the character, students will develop a series of illustrations which feature movement of their characters to create their own animation sequence. A good starting place for students interested in a future in storyboard design, cartooning, animation, video game design, comics & graphic novels. Students will end the course with an understanding of the basics of cartooning & animation! Bring to first class: a sketchpad 9"x12" or larger and several no. 2 pencils.
