Embellishment Workshop 3D SURFACES

Service Description

Discover the delights of a haute couture fashion design workroom as you try some incredible 3-dimentional art forms used by fashion designers! In this workshop, you'll work with needle & thread to make samples of a number of surface embellishments and textures from a variety of fine silk fabrics, beads, sequins, etc. You may also work on sample size dress forms to develop your own unique sculptural surfaces for dresses. Bring to class: Bring a notebook & pencils, needle & threads, fabric scissors, fine tipped scissors, 1 yd silk taffeta, 1 yd silk organza - any color. Additional textiles and supplies will be available to purchase in class if you wish to try additional effects. This class meets at the designer's studio - 595 Summit Lane, Riegelsville PA 18077
