Drawing 6wk class Dec5-Jan23 (skips Dec26 & Jan2) Working with pencil & charcoal on paper, students will draw a new still life each week while learning about composition, perspective, proportion, form, light & shadow, creating portfolio pieces as they improve their handling of the drawing medium. Bring to first class an 11x17 or larger drawing pad and an assortment of drawing pencils.This class meets at Scott's studio: 595 Summit Lane, Riegelsville PA 18077 Your art portfolio presents your finest abilities & artistic point-of-view to colleges or clients. Students preparing for art schools with a "foundation" year must show they can master a variety of mediums & skills including figure drawing & anatomy, 2D & 3D design, light & value, color theory, drawing & painting, photo composition & concept, etc. Students preparing for a technical art college also benefit greatly from these foundation classes. These portfolio prep classes are designed to give students the skills needed to make their portfolios shine. ALL portfolio prep classes are appropriate for beginner through advanced artists.
