Service Description

Starting with a light pencil sketch on watercolor paper of a person, animal or still life, students will learn to depict light, shadow & form, work on color mixing & combining and end with a finished work of art. Students will make small samples in first session to get familiar with the handling of the tools & mediums. Scott will demonstrate brush work and students will duplicate his methods in their work. Each week students will learn new techniques and handling of the various brushes used to make a fine work of watercolor art. Bring to first class: drawing pencils, assorted round (soft-tip) watercolor brushes, any type/brand of watercolor paints, watercolor paper or block, paint tray/palette.
