WORKSHOP: “PERFECT MOULAGE” DRESSFORM

Service Description

Working with clear plastic wrap, clear packing tape and markers, each student will have their body copied over in plastic and then marked by the instructor with the ideal placement for centers, princess seams, waist, hip & apex levels, etc. These plastic wrap forms are highly accurate and working with them you will achieve design results equal to working with the original cloth French moulage. Because the plastic version holds its 3 dimensional shape, it can be removed from your standard dress form and stored on a closet shelf when not in use. BRING TO CLASS: two rolls of plastic wrap and two big rolls of clear packing tape. Students should wear bra & undergarments which position your body in your selected silhouette for designing garments.
